About Me

I grew up in eastern Nebraska on my family's row crop farm. After college I worked in TV new/sports reporting before turning into a stay-at-home mom and farm wife (oh, and chicken rancher). Normal transition, right? Photography began as a hobby and way to document my growing family during those real, dirty, everyday moments. I realized how important those memories are and decided to begin LD Photography.

I love capturing everything that makes Nebraska great: agriculture, rural lifestyles, and getting a little Western. Some of my favorite jobs are shooting brandings, cattle sales, harvest season, and just following families around on their farms and ranches.

These days you'll find me wranglin' kids, chasing swathers, or tagging along in our family's hay and cattle business outside North Platte, Nebraska. Thanks for being here.

Testimonials

"My family and I had a last minute photo session with Laura and even though she didn't have much notice she was able to fit us in quickly! The area she had us take photos in was perfect and very beautiful. My daughters started out a little she but she was able to get them smiling and posing in no time. The pictures turned out amazing and she was able to capture very candid and sweet moments of my family! Would recomment LD Photography to all!"
